Karen and Dorian, Dumbo Engagement shoot

I had the most amazing time photographing Karen and Dorian. Their story is so unique and best told by Karen as below. Photographing these two and their amazing story was such and honor. Congratulations you both and it was SO wonderful to photograph you! XO So our story... We met in Chinese school when we were 6 years old, but we never spoke to each other. We later started attending the church that hosted the Chinese school and went to the same high school, but we still never spoke to each other. We ended up in different fellowships even though we were the same age (shrugs), and Dorian became my younger brother's mentor in college, on the basketball courts, and in life. When I was 23 or 24,

John and Angela, Central Park Proposal

John and I have been planning his proposal to Angela for a while now. Initially he wanted to propose on a row boat in Central Park, but the boats were closed that morning and he soon switched to steps plan B. I love plan B...as I usually like unexpected things. John had made a beautiful travel journal with all their adventures together and he started to read it to Angela as they walked along Central Park. They sat down at random benches and fountains going through the journal and enjoying their stories together. By the time he reached Bethesda Terrace steps, Angela was weak at her knees as John went down on his own knee and asked her to marry him. What a beautiful heartfelt proposal indeed,

Nancy and Hugo, Central Park Elopement

Nancy and Hugo's secret elopement was so secret that I was their only witness at City Hall. The excitement of getting married without anyone knowing what was going on is something else. The entire shoot Nancy and Hugo couldn't keep their hands off each other. The way Nancy keep smelling her flowers and Hugo kept looking at her was adorable. This beautiful snowy elopement was set in NYC's Central Park and was the perfect morning with snow climbing and popping giant bubbles in the crisp spring air.
